UNC-TV
The University of North Carolina Center for Public Television (UNC-TV) is a division
of the University of North Carolina General Administration (UNC-GA). UNC-GA is the
governing and administrative body for the 16-campus University of North Carolina
system of higher education.
To comply with the digital television mandate of the FCC and complete the overall
DTV transition project, UNC-TV needed to acquire equipment and software, and design,
integration, installation, and support services. This included all necessary upgrades
of the current analog/digital hybrid production, and post-production facilities to
digital-based HD/SD systems.
